Fertilizers For Potatoes
For 4 kg of tubers with 1 square metres, potato takes from soil 16-20 g nitrogen, 35-45 g potassium oxide, 8-10 phosphorus acid, 5-6 g magnesium and small quantities of copper, bean, zinc, manganese and other micronutrients. Therefore, in order to provide a potato with a good diet during the vegetation period, fertilizers make it difficult for two periods: as the main plug to be planted in the hole., the potassium and 2/3 of the super phosphate are better placed in the soil under a baton of 14 to 15 cm deep. With a deeper outbreak of fertilizers, there are far below the precipitation tubers ' areas to accessible plants only after the root system has been developed. The remaining norm and nitrogen fertilizers should be planted in the sorrow.
Early potatoes are generally not fed during the growth period because, at an early stage of feeding, they have no advantage over the same number of fertilizers under potato; manure, various composts, bulk can be made.
Ammonium sulfate is most commonly used as ammonium septics or ammonium sulphate. The Phosphorus are made in the form of superphosphate, ammophos, ammonized superphosphate and double superphosphate, and potassium in the form of potassium salt and chloride potassium.
Organic and mineral fertilizer application standards need to be determined taking into account soil fertility.
Examples of fertilization standards on different soils (100 square metres): on fertile soils 2-2, 5 and manure or 15.2 kg ammonia. 2-2, 5 kg superphosphate and 1-1, 5 kg potassium fertilizers; 2, 5-3 and manure or compost, 2, 5-3 kg nitrogen fertilizers, 3-4 phosphorus and 2, 5 calium fertilizers;
when organic fertilizers are not sufficient, organinerary mixtures should be made at 1 z overfishing in mixtures with 1 kg ammonia seplitre and 3 kg superphosphate per 100 square metres.
In all soils, a higher yield can be obtained with an addition of 5-10 kg of wood ash per 100 square metres. In addition to phosphorus, potassium and calcium, there are various micronutrients necessary for the normal growth of potatoes.
